Minecraft was created in 2011 by the Swedish developer Markuss Person. The game is referred to as a sandbox video game and was published by Mojang. It has a number of game modes and allows players to build different things using blocks in a 3D procedurally generated world. Minecraft received a lot of positive reviews from users as well as critical acclaim. Today, the game is used in specially designed educational environments.

Gameplay 5/5

Created as a 3D sandbox game, Minecraft has no specific aims that you need to accomplish as a player. Therefore, there is a lot of freedom to play as you wish. Minecraft’s world consists of 3D objects such as cubes or fluids (commonly, they are well known as ‘blocks’). These objects represent different raw materials. It can be stone, tree trunks, stone, water, and even lava. The gameplay centers around mining blocks, placing them, and building different things. The world is procedurally generated and almost infinitive. However, due to technical reasons, the users are prevented from exploring beyond 30M blocks from the center. You can choose whether you want to play in a first-person or third-person perspective. By default, the gameplay is in the first-perspective.

Minecraft has five modes: adventure, hardcore, spectator, survival, and creative. In survival and hardcore modes, you need to explore the world and gather resources in order to craft certain items. Otherwise, the creative mode does not limit you in resources and gives you the opportunity to focus only on the building. In adventure mode, you can experience more adventure experience. The spectator regime allows you to watch how other gamers are playing without actually interacting with them.

Graphics 5/5

Minecraft features simple graphics. All objects, including plants or clouds, are built from the blocks; therefore, there are no rounded corners. The animations and effects are simple. The blocking structure and graphics simplicity add the game charm and a unique aesthetic.

Replay Value 5/5

In fact, Minecraft has high replay value. The players can choose among five different modes: adventure, survival, hardcore, spectator, and survival. Also, you can play alone or with your friends in a multiplayer regime. Minecraft features unique graphics and gets freedom in choosing how to play the game.

Controls 5/5

The control mechanism is simple and intuitive. To move the blocks, you need to tap the place where you want to place it. You can play the game using the keyboard, mouse, or touchscreen if you play on the mobile phone. The control mechanism is working properly and does not have bugs.

Conclusion

You can play Minecraft on the computer, tablet or mobile phone. It has interesting gameplay and simple graphics. Also, you can switch between first-player or third-player modes, play with friends or alone. Find the game in a sandbox or survival category.

  • I've watched so many cool videos with MINECRAFT and I've played it myself on phone. I really need help entering the game.
